THE "TRU" CHAMPION

Scottish based Tullis Russell Papermakers Ltd. has recently embarked on a key marketing campaign in North America in support of it’s increasingly popular C1S/C2S Cover range, TRULUX.

During January and February a series of “kick-off” presentations were made to authorized Trulux merchants throughout North America. The centerpiece of the campaign, which will run through to the end of November 2002, is a new, printed promotion entitled “ Trulux – A Champion for Every Challenge”.

Designed to be used by the merchant sales rep as a presentation tool, this golf-themed piece plays on the connection between club selection in golf and paper selection in printing. Each “club-shaped” insert identifies the primary attributes of Trulux across five major end use markets, Book & Catalog Covers, Calendars & Menus, Pocket Folders, Greeting Cards & Postcards, and Promotional Brochures.

To illustrate the outstanding printed results that can be achieved with Trulux, the Cover of the piece has been printed and gloss laminated one-side on 14 Pt. Trulux C1S. The various inserts have been printed on both C1S and C2S 8-12 Pt. with a variety of finishing techniques including spot UV varnish, foil stamping, die-cutting and fine embossing.
